Who Is This For

Placement and Standardized Exam Scores

Newly admitted students, current students, and advisors who need official placement outcomes and verified standardized exam scores in the Canadian North Academy records system.

Placement Exams

Placement exam results help students and advisors choose the most suitable starting level for first-term courses. Placement outcomes and recommendations are published in the student portal.

  • Placement scores are reviewed by the relevant academic team.
  • Course level recommendations are generated from approved score thresholds.
  • Updated recommendations appear in your portal record once processing is complete.

Check your portal profile regularly after admission and before registration deadlines for newly posted placement decisions.

Advanced Placement (AP) Scores

To include AP scores in your student record, send an official score report from the issuing board and ensure your full name and admission number match your school profile.

How to Submit

  • Order an official AP score report from the exam provider.
  • Select Canadian North Academy as the receiving institution where available.
  • Include your admission number and date of birth for matching.

After Submission

  • Scores are validated against your admission/student profile.
  • Verified scores are posted to your placement and score record.
  • If no match is found, the records office contacts you for verification.

International Baccalaureate (IB) Scores

IB results are added to your student record after official release and successful identity matching. Higher-level and approved subject records are reflected based on school policy.

How to Submit

  • Request your official report through the International Baccalaureate service.
  • Choose Canadian North Academy as the destination institution where listed.
  • Confirm your profile details before final submission.

Important Note

  • Use the main institution listing, not program aliases, when selecting destination.
  • Unverified or incomplete submissions may delay posting to your record.
  • Keep your submission receipt until score processing is complete.
